The outfitting of the vessel will continue at the building berth of the shipyard. The sea trials will be in the near future and everything is carried out at the scheduled time.Vessel is 10 meter long and 2 meters wide. Powered with Yanmar 10.5 Hp engines the vessel will attain a speed of 15 knots in normal sea conditions. Qurmos Z drive system is used propulsion. “This propulsion system developed by Qurmos is 40% more fuel efficient that the normal OBM available in the market” said Dr. Binoy, Managing partner, Qurmos.V shaped hull has a bilge keel & skeg that resist the rolling of vessel in rough sea conditions. Two cold room facilities are available in the vessel, with 3 T carrying capacity. Equipped with GPS and Fish finder vessel enables the fisherman to have a safe & economic voyage in rough seas.
