The launch of Kerala seaplane project was another proud moment for Navgathi. We were entrusted with the designing of floating marinas & houseboats in Seaplane project. Navgathi Marine becomes a part of Kerala’s most prestigious & one of the fastest completed projects in the history of the state. Water-dromes with floating marinas designed by Navgathi have been setup at Ashtamudi, Punnamada, Kumarakom, and Bekal. Water-drome at Bolgatty Island will be set up after the Navy gives its clearance.
Navgathi Marine becomes a part of Kerala’s most prestigious & one of the fastest completed projects in the history of the state. The project started in late July last year and the launch was inaugurated by Kerala chief minister shri. Oommen Chandy.
The floating pontoons made of fiber reinforced plastics were designed under Kerala Inland vessel rules to carry 25 people at a time and are of dimensions 10 x 5 meters.
